Our headshot collections allow enough time for one to four different looks to add variety and interest to your headshot portfolio. If you’re not sure where to start with your outfits for your session we recommend the following.

First Look – Business Professional

This is that look that says you’re about to walk into your most important meeting and make a career changing presentation. Keep it classy and confident. Well-tailored wool suits are always a good choice. Make sure that whatever you choose to wear is dry-cleaned and pressed.

Second Look – Business Casual

This is the look that’s a little more relaxed and approachable while still being professional. However, casual doesn’t equate with sloppy so make sure that everything you’re wearing fits properly and is clean and pressed.

A good place to start is a solid or patterned button-down shirt, narrow tie, nice slacks, and a tailored sports coat that can be either on or off for picture.

Third Look – Branded

Does your company have a monogramed shirt with your logo or a uniform? This is a great thing to wear for one of your headshot looks. It connects your headshot directly with your brand and is a great contribution to your website.

Fourth Look – Business Casual

If you choose a collection with four looks we recommend a second business casual for your fourth look. Business casual still looks refined and polished but it has a more relaxed feel and allows for a more personal connection with your clients through your headshot.

For your second look maybe wear the same slacks, a different shirt, no tie, and a colored sweater instead of a sports coat. Take this opportunity to show a little more of your personality in the outfit you choose.
